Bio: Ab Blast, Cardio Kickbox & Pilates
I have been involved in fitness my whole life and I love it! I am a Cross Country Coach at Bishop O’Dowd and was a member of the Women’s Cross Country Team at USF. I have been training and teaching for the past 5 years, as well as training for boxing. I love teaching and training because it is a way to help others reach their individual goals.

I am a graduate of USF with a degree in Exercise & Sport Science 2005.I have taught group exercise classes at corporate, recreation, and commercial clubs in the Bay Area for 7+ years.
Following a life-threatening brain injury in 1997 that resulted in a 22 day coma and paralysis on the left side of my body, which requires constant physical activity to maintain function, I have dedicated my life to inspire and lead people to achieve optimal health regardless of the individual’s health status.

I am an Alumni of CSUEB where I studied in the dance program and obtained a B.A. in Theatre Arts. Since graduating in 2008, I have been an artist in the community teaching all over the bay area, including at CSUEB. I love to dance and teach because it is something that feeds my soul and allows me to inspire others.

Bio: Body Bootcamp
I have been involved athletics since I was old enough to walk, in activities ranging from cross country to soccer to gymnastics. I’ve had experience in coaching all of these sports and have developed a fitness regimen combining conditioning techniques from each. I enjoy being involved in athletics, teaching fitness classes, and I am currently playing soccer for Cal State East Bay.

I graduated from UC Berkeley in 2010. I swam for Cal for two seasons and I am now the Assistant Swim Coach here at Cal State East Bay. I have been involved with Spinning and group fitness classes for 8+ years and have been teaching since 2010.

Hello! I am instructor Joe! I am currently a junior here at the wonderful Cal State East Bay. My major is Kinesiology with an emphasis in Physical Therapy and I am currently interning to be a strength and conditioning coach for Oakland Raider organization. I wrestled in high school and junior college so I know what it takes to be disciplined and have a good work ethic. Working out is my passion and a way of life. In my spare time I enjoy good food, good company, and I enjoy a good challenge!

I have been in love with dance since I can remember. I have been a member of STANCE since 2009 and am very active in the theater department, participating in shows such as Sophisticated Lady and Chicago. I love to teach hip hop because I believe that dance inspires people.

I am a mother of four and I have been in the fitness industry for about 15 years. I am currently pursuing my teaching credential here at CSU, East Bay. I have been teaching Zumba for two years and I love it. I’ve been AFAA certified since 1996 and I’ve had experience teaching spinning, step, and body conditioning. I love teaching Zumba because it is fun and easy, everyone can do it!

I graduated from East Bay in 1996. I have a black belt in Tae Kwon Do through the Kinesiology department here on campus. I have taught Tae Kwon Do, Yoga, and Aerobic Kickboxing in the Kinesiology department since 2001.

Justin Landry, is a senior majoring in Pre-Athletic Training with a minor in Recreational Therapy from California State University, East Bay. Justin has worked as a fitness specialist for the past seven years. His resume includes working in the corporate health care setting as a fitness specialist for Kaiser Permanente and as a physical therapist aide for Webster Orthopedics. He is currently the strength and conditioning, and track and field coach for Saint Elizabeth High School in Oakland, California a team beach body coach and a certified personal trainer.
