CSUEB will be hosting a review and discussion of all academic and non-academic programs and activities on Tuesday February 19th @ 3:30pm-4:30pm UU 102 and February 20th @ 12pm-1:00pm Oakland/Concord Room New UU. This meeting is called Planning for Distinction.
The objective of this planning effort is to find the proper balance of programs that allow the University to maintain the hallmarks of quality at CSU East Bay and pursue those initiatives we believe are most essential to the campus mission and strategic commitments, and the institutional learning objectives. While the time and effort required to engage in this process will be substantial, the outcome should provide direction for the University, within the financial constraints we face, to ensure that we continue to provide “academically rich, culturally relevant, learning experiences that prepare students to apply their education to meaningful lifework, and to be socially responsible contributors to society.”
Being apart of this discussion and review, will help our University have a better understanding of what programs and activities are an integral part of our campus community. You don’t want to miss out on this opportunity to be apart of change.
