ASI mission

Associated Students Incorporated prioritizes students’ needs, and authentically advocates for them through lobbying and non-violent demonstrations at the federal, state, system, and campus level while ensuring students opinions are objectively heard and thoroughly considered in every decision affecting them. Associated Students Incorporated also provides significant services, funding, and intellectually diverse programs and facilities that improve the holistic educational experience enabling students successful.

WELCOME TO THE 2011-2012 YEAR AT CAL STATE EAST BAY! Your leadership and initiative taken for electing your current ASI officers is duly noted and appreciated as it is you, the students who direct this board of elected students in all matters working towards the betterment of education, student life, and the college experience at CSUEB.

Departments

	Business Center The focal point of Associated Students’ operations provides an array of services to students, including student club banking services, fax and copy services, check cashing, student health insurance, and discounted movie, AC Transit, and BART tickets.
	Campus Recreation Campus Recreation provides students, faculty, and staff with opportunities to stay healthy, have fun, and enhance their education and development experiences through our Intramural Sport Leagues, and Fitness Classes, and Tournaments.
	Diversity Center The Center is a focal point for co curricular leaning, meaningful programming and a movement that ferments a commitment to social justice and change that works towards the betterment of our society by those who actively support and engage in the efforts of the Center.
	Government Associated Students, Inc. provides responsible and effective leadership for a diverse student population and makes sound decisions for the betterment of California State University, East Bay students. The governing body serves as the official student voice.
	ASI Presents ASI Presents produces a variety of special programs and events to meet the social, cultural and entertainment needs of the CSU East Bay community. Check out upcoming events and videos and pictures from past shows.
	University Union The University Union is the living room of the campus. It is a place to come and eat, meet, play and socialize with your friends and classmates.

AAFSA 9th Annual Scholarship Dinner

This year, CSUEB's African American Faculty & Staff Association (AAFSA) is awarding $1000 scholarships (and more surprises) to deserving CSUEB students! The program includes an authentic soul food dinner, scholarship award presentations, live performances by students, faculty and staff, and much more!
The event will be on May 4th at 5:30 pm in the University Union, MPR A&B. Tickets can be purchased at csueastbaytickets.edu
