ASI mission

Associated Students Incorporated (ASI) of California State University, East Bay is the official voice of the students at CSU East Bay. ASI represents and advocates on behalf of the interests, needs, and concerns of our very diverse and dynamic student body, providing them with the services and resources to supplement and support their college experience.

Your leadership and initiative taken for electing your current ASI officers is duly noted and appreciated as it is you, the students who direct this board of elected students in all matters working towards the betterment of education, student life, and the college experience at CSUEB.

Departments

	Business Center The focal point of Associated Students’ operations provides an array of services to students, including student club banking services, fax and copy services, check cashing, student health insurance, and discounted movie, AC Transit, and BART tickets.
	Campus Recreation Campus Recreation provides students, faculty, and staff with opportunities to stay healthy, have fun, and enhance their education and development experiences through our Intramural Sport Leagues, and Fitness Classes, and Tournaments.
	Diversity Center The Center is a focal point for co curricular leaning, meaningful programming and a movement that ferments a commitment to social justice and change that works towards the betterment of our society by those who actively support and engage in the efforts of the Center.
	Early Childhood Education Center A state-of-the-art facility with innovative programs and developmentally appropriate activities provides quality early childhood programs and services for the infant, toddler, and preschool children of CSUEB students, faculty and staff.
	Government Associated Students, Inc. provides responsible and effective leadership for a diverse student population and makes sound decisions for the betterment of California State University, East Bay students. The governing body serves as the official student voice.
	ASI Presents ASI Presents produces a variety of special programs and events to meet the social, cultural and entertainment needs of the CSU East Bay community. Check out upcoming events and videos and pictures from past shows.
	University Union The University Union is the living room of the campus. It is a place to come and eat, meet, play and socialize with your friends and classmates.

CSUEB HOMECOMING 2012 February 6 – 11, 2012
The Red and Black Attack, 50 Years of Pioneer Athletics”

The theme for Homecoming 2012 is “The Red and Black Attack, 50 Years of Pioneer Athletics.” Judges will be looking for:
· The use of red and black
· Creativity
· Use of the Homecoming Theme
Prizes will be awarded for First and Second Places, in both the Office Decorating and Door Decorating contests. The First Place prices will be:
· Office Decorating - Lunch Service
· Door/Cubicle Decorating - Coffee Service
Judging will be on Wednesday, February 8, 2012, beginning at:
· 9:00 am Concord Campus
· 11:00 am Hayward Campus
Entries will be accepted until noon, Tuesday, February 7, 2012.
